It seems like great minds think a like. Squarerock recently launched there new site and Team and so have Pyranha . I have had a quick look and you can see a few TVF regulars up on the Team pages, firstly Paula Volkmer on the Pro Team paddlers and then Richard Brooks on the Pro Team Coaches I am sure there is many more you will recognise. Riverside Centre shop will be hosting the UK premiere of Rush Sturges
and Tyler Bradt new DVD ‘Dream Result’ in Oxford on Thursday 4th March.

Weekend of boating, coaching, competitions and celebration!

Boat demos – New Burn and Molan plus all the old favorites

Courses on the river run by top coaches for all abilities..only £25 per session.

Evening talks/films including ‘Adventures with Chris’ – a celebration of the life of Chris Wheeler, presented by Mark R and friends.

Competitions – Rodeo and Boater X, lots of different categories, juniors welcome plus pro and ancient boaters!

The Evening will see some talks, films, prizes and dancing (there may be some drinking as well).

Chris will be discussing his most recent expedition to New Zealand; and Dave will be talking about amusing stories gathered over many expeditions to the Himalayas, Morocco, Kyrgyzstan and many other exciting locations.

Dear All,

Just to let you know that for Riverside’s latest talk we have the one and only Simon Tapley coming to give us all a chat about his epic Greenland expedition where he explored possibly the last unspoilt, unexplored whitewater destination in the world! This enlightening talk will give you an insight into what is required to undertake an expedition of this kind as well as an opportunity to ask some questions!

There will also be a raffle with fantastic paddling prizes from Palm, Nookie and Pyranha; raffle tickets cost £1.

Please come along and join in the fun on Tuesday 6th May 2008 from 7.30pm. Tickets are £4 in advance or £5 on the door.
