Pikey arrived back from his travels to find that the parking at Hurley was a complete mess. Instead of just excepting that’s how it is and leaving it to someone else to clean it up, he gathered the troops and started his project clean up.

I have to say I am extremely impressed, bearing in mind he has never tidied his own bedroom!!
Pikey is always full of amazement and it proves he cares about the environment we live in.

The message that Pikey is trying to get across is if we are actively seen to be cleaning up after ourselves, people will see that we do appreciate the facilities we use. The idea is to clean up at all the car parks we use, Hurley was just the starting point.

Thank you to Pikey for his idea and implementation, thank you to everyone that took part and thank you to Berkshire Canoes who provided the bags and gloves.
