How did you first become involved in kayaking?
I know it’s not cool, but probably through scouts  

How long have you been seriously kayaking?
About 3 years

 

Have you been part of a canoe club?
Not as yet

What is it about kayaking you like so much?
Getting wet, no I’d say learning new moves or hitting that line, Oh and some of the people you get to meet along the way.

What disciplines of kayaking have you been involved in?
Freestyle and a bit of river running

 

How did you get into freestyle?
Its all down to Garry (captain) miller, he invited me to join the boffins at Boulters one Sunday morn.

Where have you paddled including travelling etc?
England, Wales, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Canada, Montréal, Ottawa, Uganda,

What is your favourite paddling destination?
Don’t think I can pick just one yet. 

 

Where would you like to travel to?
Canada BC,

Who inspires you in kayaking?
The young people coming in to the sport, how keen they are, and also all the friends I paddle with.

Wavesport Project 52, Werner Paddles, Yak equipment, Happy 2 be Helmet
